Senior Backend Developer

The ideal Senior Backend Developer will have a strong foundation in various programming languages and database technologies, alongside a keen eye for system design and query optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services and APIs.
• Implement and manage database schemas using SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and/or JavaScript.
• Extensive experience with SQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of backend architecture and system design principles.
• Proven ability in query optimization and performance tuning.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
