Senior Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate detailed business analysis activities for complex supply chain initiatives within the retail sector.
• Elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements related to forecasting, replenishment strategies, inventory management, supply chain planning, warehouse operations, and logistics.
• Translate critical business requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications for various supply chain planning solutions, potentially including platforms like Relex.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and vendors, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Identify process improvements and propose innovative solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness across the retail value chain.
• Conduct thorough assessments of existing supply chain processes and systems to pinpoint areas for optimization and modernization.
• Support the implementation and integration of new supply chain technologies, ensuring they meet specified business objectives and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in Business Analysis, with a strong emphasis on supply chain operations.
• Demonstrable in-depth experience across various facets of supply chain management, including forecasting, replenishment, inventory control, planning, warehouse management, and logistics.
• Mandatory: Proven and extensive experience specifically within the Retail industry; applications from non-retail sectors (e.g., banking, insurance, fintech, telecoms) will unfortunately not be considered.
• Experience working with specialized Supply Chain planning solutions such as Relex is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to dissect complex supply chain issues.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
