Senior Database Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support Oracle Database environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Manage and scale database solutions within AWS RDS, leveraging cloud-native capabilities.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform for database provisioning and management.
• Ensure database security and compliance using tools like IBM Guardium.
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize database schemas and queries.
• Plan and execute database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Perform database upgrades, patching, and migrations as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in database administration.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database Administration, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated experience with AWS RDS and other cloud database services.
• Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with database security tools, specifically IBM Guardium.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work setting (Hyderabad/Pune).
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
