As a Senior Simulation Platform Engineer at KPIT, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our capabilities, driving technical excellence, and ensuring the seamless operation of our simulation infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and reliable simulation platforms using Python, C++, and Linux.
• Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and manage simulation environments efficiently.
• Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
• Integrate simulation platforms with cloud services (AWS/GCP) to leverage scalable computing resources and data storage.
• Develop and manage REST APIs for seamless interaction between various components of the simulation platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to networking, virtualization, and scripting within the simulation environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, architect solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of extensive professional experience in software development, particularly with simulation platforms or embedded systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.
• Strong expertise in Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
• Demonstrable experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with version control systems, especially Git.
• Proven track record in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS and GCP, including an understanding of their core services.
• Familiarity with REST API design and development principles.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with tools like QEMU, KVM, Terraform, MATLAB, or Simulink is considered a significant advantage.
