Senior Full Stack Developer

As a Senior Full Stack Developer at ThoughtBot India, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable software solutions. You will leverage your deep expertise in Java, Angular, microservices, and databases to build high-performance applications. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex full-stack applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Develop and maintain robust backend services using Java, focusing on microservices architecture and seamless integration via REST API and GraphQL.
• Create dynamic and intuitive user interfaces with Angular, ensuring an excellent user experience across various platforms.
• Manage and optimize database interactions using both SQL and NoSQL technologies to support application data requirements.
• Contribute to the architectural design and evolution of microservice-based systems, promoting best practices and reusability.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Explore and integrate AI capabilities into existing or new applications to enhance functionality and user value.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development, with a significant focus on full-stack roles.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in backend development, primarily with Java and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in designing and consuming REST API and GraphQL services.
• Solid experience (5+ years) in web development, specifically with Angular framework.
• Extensive experience (5+ years) working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Demonstrable experience with AI technologies or machine learning concepts.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Must be based in Bangalore or nearby areas and comfortable with a hybrid work model.
