Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute comprehensive manual testing efforts across various software applications and features.
• Perform in-depth API testing using industry-standard tools like Postman, ensuring functionality, reliability, and performance.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust test cases and test plans for new features and existing functionalities.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects efficiently.
• Utilize JIRA for effective bug tracking, reporting, and management throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure thorough testing coverage for both REST and SOAP APIs, validating data integrity and communication protocols.
• Participate in all phases of the testing process, from requirement analysis to deployment and post-release validation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7-10 years of overall experience in Manual Testing, with a significant focus on API Testing.
• At least 4+ years of hands-on experience with API testing using Postman is mandatory.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with REST API and SOAP APIs.
• Proficiency in SQL for database testing and validation.
• Demonstrated experience with JIRA for test management and defect tracking.
• Pure testing experience throughout your career, with no transitions from non-IT backgrounds.
• Possession of a BE/B.Tech or MCA degree from a recognized institution.
• Candidates must be immediate joiners or have an official notice period of up to 15 days.
