Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C++ Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and testing of advanced software for packaging equipment. As a Senior C++ Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bringing innovative solutions to life, working with cutting-edge technologies and collaborating with a talented group of engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and co-specify requirements for both new and existing software features.
• Design and code robust software solutions utilizing C++ and Object-Oriented programming principles.
• Implement and rigorously test developed software code to ensure high quality and performance.
• Provide essential support during advanced packaging equipment demonstrations, qualifications, and buyoffs, both in-house and at international customer sites.
• Engage in multi-threaded programming and apply understanding of various design patterns to complex problems.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C++ and extensive experience with Object-Oriented Analysis and Object-Oriented Design Methodologies.
• Demonstrated expertise in multi-threaded programming skills and knowledge of design patterns.
• Highly preferred experience with STL, COM/DCOM, and BOOST or equivalent templates.
• Familiarity with Tcl/Tk and Python is considered a significant advantage.
• A results-driven approach with a proactive 'can-do' mentality.
