We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Finance Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves leveraging financial acumen and data analytics expertise to drive insightful reporting, robust financial planning, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in analyzing complex financial data, identifying trends, and presenting actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and analysis of P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and comprehensive financial reports.
- Conduct detailed Budget vs. Actual and Variance Analysis to pinpoint discrepancies and understand underlying causes.
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Utilize business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to create interactive dashboards and visualizations.
- Perform in-depth data analysis using Advanced Excel and SQL to extract, transform, and report on financial data.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support business growth and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3-8 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in P&L, Balance Sheet analysis, and financial reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Budget vs. Actual and Variance Analysis.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
- Demonstrated experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
