Sr. Manager AGM - Sourcing

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously refine robust, cost-effective sourcing strategies tailored to the pharmaceutical industry.
• Identify, evaluate, and engage in skilled negotiations with global suppliers to secure advantageous terms and high-quality products.
• Cultivate and maintain a strong, reliable base of strategic suppliers, ensuring long-term partnerships and supply chain resilience.
• Systematically monitor and evaluate supplier performance across critical metrics including Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
• Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, developing proactive mitigation strategies.
• Provide strong leadership, coaching, and performance management to the sourcing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Effectively manage budgets, meticulously track spending, and prepare comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) reports for executive review.
• Oversee finished goods sourcing from Third-Party Manufacturers and manage loan licensing processes for diverse export markets.
• Drive strategic supplier development and management initiatives to enhance overall supply chain efficiency and reliability.

Requirements

• A minimum of 12 to 18 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical sourcing or strategic procurement.
• Must possess strong, hands-on experience in Pharma Sourcing, specifically pertaining to Finished Goods sourcing from Third-Party Manufacturers and Loan Licensing for export markets.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic supplier development and management within the pharmaceutical sector.
• A Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Pharmacy or an MBA is highly preferred.
• Possession of a Supply Chain Management certification will be considered a significant advantage.
• Deep understanding of the Pharma OSD / Formulation industry is essential.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
