UKG Consultant

Avance Services is seeking an experienced and dedicated UKG Consultant to join our dynamic team on a contractual basis. As a UKG Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in translating complex business requirements into robust UKG Workforce Management configurations, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Your work will directly impact our clients' ability to manage time, scheduling, and absence effectively, driving efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and enhance Kronos/UKG Workforce Management (WFM) applications according to precise business requirements.
• Specialize in WFM modules including Timekeeping, Workforce Scheduling, Absence/Leave Management, Attendance, Workforce Accruals, and Employee/Manager Self-Service.
• Analyze business requirements thoroughly and translate them into effective WFM system configurations.
• Perform hands-on configuration, including setting up pay rules, work rules, schedules, accruals, security profiles, and other essential WFM components.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues, conducting comprehensive root-cause analysis to ensure system stability.
• Support all phases of incident, problem, and change management activities for UKG systems.
• Collaborate with technical teams to manage interfaces and integrations between Kronos/UKG and various HR/payroll systems.
• Support inbound and outbound interfaces, data feeds, and employee master-data integrations.
• Develop and execute rigorous test cases for all configuration changes and system enhancements.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and provide support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Monitor system logs to troubleshoot interface or application-specific issues.
• Prepare detailed functional and technical documentation, including configuration specifications.
• Actively participate in client meetings, offering expert technical and functional guidance.
• Coordinate effectively with offshore and onshore teams, as well as other application teams, to ensure project success.
• Support system deployment activities and conduct thorough post-production validation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting UKG (Kronos) Workforce Management solutions.
• Demonstrated expertise across multiple UKG WFM modules such as Timekeeping, Scheduling, Absence Management, and Accruals.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical configurations.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application and integration issues.
• Experience with system testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and UAT.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and team coordination.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
